Left rear side marker lamp
I very recently purchased a 96' Corvette. I noticed the other evening that the left rear side marker bulb was out on the red light area. I assumed the bulb was shot and needed to be replaced. Today I went to change out the bulb and noticed the wires to that lamp had been purposely cut. I thought it was strange. I re-connected the wires and the side marker now works. However, my left turn signal now only lights up solid and no longer blinks. The right side is fine. Obviously there is a relation between the two. If I disconnect the side marker lamp, the left signal works again. Any thoughts on what the issue may be and how to repair?
