I jave found some articles etc about this cover plate but could not find any mention of a regular base corvette. Are these valve covers only on the zr1 ? I seem to be having a leak in this area and could not locate it based on the pictures I have found. It was also getting a bit dark outside and my flashlights are in my service truck at work ? Any help would be appreciated thank you !😜

The ZR1 was a Mercury Marine built engine - very different from a SBC.

Ok I'll take that as a no then the base model vetter does not have a oil presurre regulating valve cover plate 😜 thank you !!
