The FSM describes in quite a lot of detail what colour vacuum line operates what flap/door for your heating, cooling and vent arrangement. Pretty good bet that there is a problem in one of those vacuum circuits.

sorry for the confusion / at first air was only coming out at the bottom vent on fan high, max cool / now air comes out middle grilles and bottom grille on passenger side at same time , trying to only have air come out top vents only . is it suppose to operate like that ?
