Default RT Tuner Pro install

Hello,

I am going to try and read my, 1985 Corvette, ECM with RT Tuner Pro software. I have the ADLI connector from when I owned my 84.
I went to the Tuner Pro website and looked up my car and found this

Mask ID ECM Bin Definition Data Stream Definition Applicatio
$1F 1226870 1F.xdf A20.ads 85 Y Body 5.7 TPI (L98)
85 F Body 5.0 TPI (LB9)
(ADS by Robert Saar)

I thought that there is another file I needed so that the program will run. I had this running on my 84 and 89 but I forgot how I installed and ran it, sorry.
Is there an idiots guide to installing this program?
I don't want to tune. I really want to find out what the ECM is seeing. Will a code reader do that.

The car is running so rich that the plugs are getting black. I have a new ECM and PROM, CTS, O2,TPS and MAT I will install this when I get back to Guam next weekend. I think that the CTS signal is not getting to the ECM but without a reader I have no way of knowing. Oh and the SEL light does not work, I cannot pull codes.

Thank you all

Thank you all

You have the correct files to use. however, the ads file will need to be converted to an adx file first in order to use Tunerpro to datalog. The following tutorials will get you there. Enjoy.

Thank you for getting back to me. I thought the ads needed to be converted.
So the xdf file is in the program.
I renamed the ads to adx. What do I do with the adx file.

Thank you

You have to use Tunerpro to convert the ADS file to ADX format. You cannot just rename it.

See following tutorial
