issues (trans)
ok i have an 87 with an auto, she just bit the dust, what would be better- rebuild the auto with race ready parts or do a 6speed swap...
i can get the trans built for around 1k.

Fix the auto....a swap to a six speed is more than the average vette owner would want to experience. There is alot involved in the swap. Alot of it involves a greater deal of cash than a good auto rebuild.
