Eleminating SMOG PUMP
There is a kit avilable from ...like mad, zip, ecklers....to get rid of the A.I.R. pump.....what does it take to do this on an '84????
Does any of my brothers know???
Kit is available....but what about the power steering pump???? Do you have to get the '85 brackets????

You can remove the pump and install a shorted serpentine belt. But the brackets are weak without it. I just bought a new bracket from R-d Racing... check out this website, or call and see if they still have them available.. :)

Dave is a supported vendor, and member on this forum. 84c4 is his s/n.. Like i said, check out the site.. I should have my bracket installed this weekend hopefully. It does not appear to be very difficult..
