The Stealth Ram will not clear the stock hood, you will need a new one to make it fit.

Grumpyvette has done a lot of research on this and is in the process of having some people he knows cut down the Stealth so it will fit under a vette hood. He already has one on his vette but has an aftermarket hood scoop on his 85.
Bascilly the claims are that the torque and RPM climb higher performance wise than the MR and the SR with about the same amount of low end torque loss.

FYI i just called Holley, and the part numbers have changed the new part number is 7540 (i think it's actually HLY-7540.....or at least at summit it is!)
and they got it for $279, but its backordered.
im gonna order mine this week, just having trouble with what throttle body to use! :confused:
