Engine idle misfire
1995 corvette 350/auto 80K miles very well maintained that has developed a periodic miss at idol. My mechanic is having a problem with this issue. Car runs strong otherwise.

Check the cap and rotor on the OPTI spark for corrosion, also check the fuel injectors. An idle miss that cleans up with some throttle or RPM for some strange reason can be a bad cap and rotor. It could also be a bad injector that does not deliver fuel at idle. I assume he checked the basics like plugs and wires.
