I'm using the OEM red LT4 wires. No problems now for over 2 years with TPIS long tubes.

I use firesleeves on a couple of mine to keep them from getting burnt. No one wire will be better than another when they touch a hot header. All of them melt if not protected.

whatever wires you choose, get a boot cover for it. Jacobs electronics offers a super high temp wire that has a ceramic boot. Guarantee that wont melt. :cheers:
