90 L-98 diagnostic codes question.

90 L-98 diagnostic codes question.
Hello! So I have a 1990 c4, L-98 engine auto trans. I did the paper clip thing to get trouble codes on the dash. Can anyone help me find out what they are for?
first it said 1 and the codes were C74, H53, H72, H74.
next it said 4 and the codes were H32
last it said 1.0 and no codes.

“1” So the 72 and 74 make sense. The guy before us switched out the crappy after market radio and put in a better one, and he probably didn’t do the resistor mods, so I can ignore those most likely? It would explain why the one code is a current code...
I’ll reset the codes and see what comes back up.
”4”. The car is showing some symptoms that point to the EGR- loping idle, occasional stall while slowing down. Not constant, intermittent. I need to figure out the vacuum lines and replace them all per the mechanic that did the prepurchase check. I’ll post another thread about it after reset if it comes back.
”1.0”. That confused me too because I thought a 9 was supposed to show up also. I checked the codes 3 times to make sure I didn’t miss something.
I’ll have to disconnect the battery to clear the codes. The panel with the met/eng, trip etc doesn’t work- but that’ll also be a different thread to get that working!
