1992 Corvette Optispark
Hey guys,
I am working on replacing my optispark in my 1992 baseline vette coupe with the LT1 motor. I was having a problem where the car would start get hot then shut off at idle or on the road randomly. I was told that this would be the issue. The car had a new opti, waterpump, plugs and wires put in 2 thousand miles ago. I decided that if this is truly the problem then I want to upgrade to the best parts I can. What would people recommend I get for an opti so this doesn't happen again? I was thinking MSD, AC Delco or Delphi but I want the opti to be protected so it doesn't get damaged again as I believe the issue with the first one may have been that he gasket seals were not installed correctly and it caused the pump to leak on it. Can people send links on here of optisparks, plugs, and wire combos I should get? Please help, thank you!

I already removed the optispark and I am looking for a new one along with plugs and wires, I believe the water pump was leaking from the poorly made gaskets and I saw some dirt in optispark plugs 4 and 7 on those pins.
