Hey guys,
I'm looking to replace my power steering pump on my 1992 corvette coupe which is baseline with the LT1 motor. I'm wondering if anyone has any instructional manuals, videos or could explain the process on here of how to remove it. I am also wondering which pump to get and if people could list a few on here that I could look at. At autozone it said it could be a pump with a resovior or without. I think mine is without but I don't know how to tell. Can anyone give me a part number, some links or information on this that could help me in my work. Please help, Thank you!

theres a place called Turn One that sold me one with a lighter aluminum housing and a more efficient design.
it was about $250 and ive been super happy with it. That was in 2012
it doesnt whine like the stock one did during autoX events.
I second the Turn One mention as they are "THE Masters of Power Steering"! If you buy one from them, they will set it up for you so you don't have to make any modifications. No surprises from them. Another company whom I will keep un-named sold me an aluminum aftermarket pump with the wrong pressure levels as Turned out it was a Nascar style pump designed to go in left turns all day and it was a complete waste of money and time. Now I have a sweet steering system on an older Corvette that had the old style power steering that required frequent corrections to go in a straight line. The rack and pinion in my C3 works like the one in my C4. Tight and responsive.
Installing a Rack and Pinion on a C3 was easy, the hardest part was getting the right power steering fluid flow to it. The kit I used requires I changed to a newer style pump and that was where the troubles began. Turn One is where they all ended, these guys are the best I have dealt with concerning the steering equipment used on Modern Cars as well as my 52 y/o Corvette. They are well worth the phone call.

I couldn't find one for my vette on the Turn One site I only see one for a c5/c6. Can you help me find the right link to the pump for my c4? Also they are like $400 and up thats alot for just a power steering pump! Is there anything else or is this my only option? How could I get my pump rebuilt?
