Door Hardware Question

I replaced the Bose amps in my door speakers this weekend & when I removed the door panel on the driver side I found this piece of rubber laying in the bottom of the door. I know it’s a long shot but does anyone know what it is & where it goes? (1989 convertible).

Yes I know it is a bumper for the window, it goes in the bottom of the well and fits in a slot about even with door handle.

Thanks! Is it even with the interior door handle or exterior?

I am sorry to say to put back in you need to pull the door panel and get to the point you where just before you pulled the amp, it lies just where you found it inside the door window valley. The little tab sticks out the bottom,it's not a vital part just might cause a rattle with window down all the way a mostly slamming door.
So put in a safe place and when mood or need puts you inside door put it back in.
