Check engine light only while on the throttle?
Got a check engine light on my 86. I dont have an obd1 scanner only obd2. But anyways ive got a check engine light only when im on the gas but when i let off the gas the check engine light goes off. What could that be??

You need to check your codes. Try this video. Dont let the "newer" dash mess you up; the processes, functionality and reading is identical.
Your CEL will throw a code. Best to see what your car is telling you.

Be advised not every SES light sets a code. I had one that was IAC related that didn't. Agree if you can get a code out that it definitely should help tracking down the issue, but know it's not guaranteed that you'll get one.
I have an Innova scanner and though it finds ODB1 codes, neither it nor the dash reading codes found one when I got this issue with the IAC.
