Do I need a custom chips?
So far I've done the usual "free" mods but the internals are still stock. The car now has dual 2.25" exhaust with no cats running through flowmasters. The car has also just had the rear gears swapped from 2.59 to 3.54's. Would having a custom chip really have many benefits for me now or should I wait until I do more mods before worrying about it. Not sure when any radical mods will start, probably weight til after the tax man gives back what he doesn't need of my weekly check next year. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. :seeya

Need one, No. If you just want to do it, you can. Will the gains be significant,... no more that getting agood tune on the car. Something any like-stock car, would stand to gain.
You can fix things like gear ratio, speedo, egr code,.....
