93 starting issue
I received the coil today in the mail (... I was not really in a rush, which is the best part about working on a car that is not your daily driver...) I pulled the *old* coil in preparation on Saturday morning (power steering pump reservoir brackets is/are in the way). Drilled out the old rivets that retain the 2-piece bracket that holds the ICM and coil, and removed the old coil. It did not look bad, per-se by visual measures, but when I buttoned the car back up, pushed in the clutch and threw the key on, the car roared to life (in very short cranking order, I may add).
Anyhow, Thank you for those of you who have pointed me in the right direction. I may buy an ICM for future replacement, because I do not think that those are getting any cheaper, or going to be more readily available in the future.
See you around: I hope that this post may help someone in the future if they are dealing with an ignition related issue like this that is not the opti.
