Don't know what "programming" you are referring to. Your key has one of 15 resistor pellets. Did you get the same value pellet as your old key?

Are you referring to the key fob? for 93-up?

Long as you got a key with the correct resistor on it, there's nothing to program. Take an ohm meter and check the resistor value on an old key vs. the new one. I once helped a friend get a new key for her car. I ohm'd the old key and requested the right key which the dealership cut. Ironically neither the dealership nor I checked the new one till we got home and it didn't work. Turned out the new key did not have the resistor value listed on the peg board it was hung on. Once got the right key cut, all was well.

A bit more information may have been a help. Could be a Vats issue.

Turn the car on. Let it sit and the security light will after 4 minutes on my Lumina go out. Then shut the car and start. If that works it's the VATS. I tried to bypass the starter the VATS kept shutting the car off. Now I just sit and listen to the radio until the security light goes out. Shut the car and start. Good luck

Good News
Great news Vett Family, I found the problem and the solution on my car. After one week i discovered that the pink wire off the battery was starting to break. I repaired it myself for just 3.00. I was frustrated Tuesday and called the Corvette shop in my area lol, they told me over the phone that they were not able to get to my car till December 11, and from what I told them it was doing dude said it would be like 800.00 not 8.00 but 800.00.... IM SO NOT UNDERSTANDING THAT. BUT anyway it's fixed. Thanks for all the help.
