does anyone know what codes appear for misfire of opti problems

i hooked up the cheap $30 gm code reader and it flashed once then break then two flashes
does anyone know what the book says on this

That's a 12, no codes stored. Check your wires and plugs, a simple tune up may be in order.

Ditto on the 12 meaning no codes present and ditto on the give it a tune-up. However I might add that the Opti could very well be missing a little and not throw codes.

I have a slight miss with no codes stored as well. The OPTI only stores a code when it doesn't receive either one or two signals.
