Starting issues 1989 6 speed
Recently the car will turn over and shut down try again and it starts but not smooth until 30 seconds or so
Before this I never had to touch the gas peddle, it just started now it needs a bit of revving after a minute or so all is fine but yesterday it will rev high at a light or stop sign. I push the peddle and release it and it calms down
seem to me a fuel issue or something needs a cleaning ?
Advice?

How many miles?
Is your throttle body hanging open a bit because it’s worn?
When it idles high, is it like 2k?
do you always need to blip the throttle to get it to idle normally while driving?
