I think that’s the difference between Americans and Australians. In general (very general) Americans tend to talk it up and Australians tend to play it down. 🇦🇺

Yeah, i pissed off a trooper that was being a dick...
he was a major factor for me getting a dash cam, i think he actually got fired a year ago for stalking iiirc (someone else, but i helped a lil).
Haha
we also have the NSA center here in utah, they hit the news a few years ago while they were testing the units and forgot to configure them first.
dropped calls, and it reset everyone's clock.
it made me late to work.
The stingray is actually old technology now, there is a much newer unit that relays calls, and has the power to decrypt.
it's super creepy, total 4th amendment type stuff...
Yeah I look after the computer system that controls the power system here in Queensland, so there is a big focus on cyber security. We send people over to Idaho National Laboratories from time to time. They showed us that technology on GSM phones in the early 2000s.
Seriously I tell young people all the time you need to read 1984. When I read it it was some sort of inconceivable future that is now here.
In Australia our privacy laws have not kept up with technology. For you guys you need another amendment.
Incidentally a state trooper booked me in Utah once. It was near St George and he made me go the the court house and pay the fine. Then he suggested I would stay and have lunch in town. I told him the wife, kids and I would be skipping lunch today because we just spent all our money on fines.
Later that day I got pulled over in Nevada and the cop said no need for a ticket go spend your money in lasVagas insted.

Play it down mate “Naah it’s not that fast want to race for money?” Hahaha
I would but... they'll hear it pull in and just be like "wtf?"

See, I live in the peoples republic of New Jersey so 1984 looks good compared to us right now. It is currently easier for me to declare my self an illegal alien and get a drivers license then it is to try and figure out the god damned 6 points of ID required to renew my current one. Actually my state issued ID doesn't even count as verification and that went through a state PD background check. I don't get it...

it’s the same **** here. My youngest had trouble getting enough I’d point to get a license. That wanted to see a letter addressed to him. Who sends a letter to a 15 year old kid?.

If I have a magazine subscription that works. My boat license doesn't. My school ID doesn't... like what?

WOW! This thread has evolved a bit. Anyway, about vacuum at WOT. Mine still has a small amount of vacuum at WOT at 6,000. Small meaning that it is an 1inch or two, there is a restriction that you can see on the dyno, but vacuum none the less at WOT. I'm running 2.13" TBs, Ben is running 2.20" TBs same cubic inch motor. I wonder if Ben is seeing any vacuum under WOT. Greg, the next time you talk with Ben ask him about that and let me know what he says. Maybe need to go a bit larger on the TBs, which is not a big issue really. Just take my TBs over to my machinist and have him bore it out a little more and make new throttle plates. My motor and Ben's as far as the motor goes are almost identical, I think his heads are TrickFlows and mine are AFR, I don't run the Dart Pro1s anymore and my cam is a little larger than his I think. The differences are in other areas to include the ECM.

yes we did get a bit off topic there.
I’ll ask Ben when I see him. I’m trying to tee up some dyno time with him for the corvette and the racing BMW my son drives.
