Well, fellas I'm ready to buy an exhuast system, but just need to know couple quick things...
Out of Borla and B&B which one is gonna have the more deep, throaty, load sound and which one is gonna show the most HP improvement? Also there will be full length headers with the cat-back along with an X-pipe, most likely no Cats....
Lastly where will I find the best price on full length headers for a 94 LT1 that are coated?..
B&B can be INSANELY loud. But the HP difference between either Borla or B&B vs. stock is about 10hp. Neither will give a significant hp gain over the other. It all depends on the sound you want, both are deep and throaty, but i would give the edge slightly to B&B because the pipes are so big.
corsa is one of the loudest but also the quietest inside at normal driving speeds. if it's borla or B&B for you, go with a B&B, i own borla so that should be saying something. also there's next to no HP difference in mufflers, borla, flow, corsa, b&b, if there was 5hp between them all i'd be amaized.
Corsas with longtubes and no cats sounds awesome. It's damn loud, but there's still no resonance!! I've had a ton of compliments on the sound with this combo.
New B&B system necks down from 3" to 2.5" at resonator (B&B now also makes a 2.5" system too) and has restrictor plates in tips all to tone down resonating. I went with a full 3" Xpipe instead (from B&B) and though it does resonate, it is not bad for a weekend car. If it were a daily driver , I would probably buy Corsa.
B&B look the best , hands down . Quality is excellent as well and flow capability is second to none. On a totally stock LT4 , according to Vette (mag , I think) , I beleive, the B&B and Power Effects (fully open) were both worth approx 12 rwhp but were also the loudest systems available. Over in the ZR1 forum someone with a ~450 rwhp car tested the B&B system and gained ~13-14 rwhp using the Xpipe in place of resonator and ~3-5 rwhp taking out the restrictors in the tips. On a 300 rwhp car I would estimate those numbers at about half that.
Between Borla and B&B, in case you have not guessed , I would DEFINITELY get the B&B. But if you are going to lightly mod the car , or want the relative quiet etc. Corsa is the way to go. Hope that helps
I was thinking Corsa, but I won't be able to get full length headers for a good while after I buy a Cat-back because money will be short and if the corsa isn't installed with the headers it prob won't sound loud how I want it.....
I mean I got flowmasters now, I don't know if there 2 chamber- 3 chamber or what even is the pipe size... The guy that I bought it from just said there's flowmasters on it....
See the thing is I just sold a mustang GT with Flowmaster 2 chamber, off-road H-pipe, shorty headers, no cats, and it was LOUD!... Now that I bought my Vette I need it to get back into that league, but I want it louder!....

I don't have resonance but I do have LOUD, and DEEP sound. It is so sweet I run around in cold weather with the windows down to hear if. Believe be it is noticeable.
