The headers will bolt to the heads, routing of the exhaust after that is where you'll likely need custom work. Different brands have different fit & finish that changes the ease of install, so you might want to ask about a specific brand. But they should clear the starter, steering linkage.
You can take regular LT1 exhaust manifolds and put them on L98s as well, and some have tried putting an entire LT1 system on.
