Hi all,
My 1992 convertible (base LT1) now has over 100,000 miles on it and I'm looking at doing a few preemptive things to keep it running smoothly.
One of those things is a new set of injectors for the EFI.
100k miles is a lot of pulses on an electrical device subjected to a lot of heat.

I would also recommend that you don't buy them on Ebay. I buy all my fuel injectors for my home fleet at one shop and get awesome service and fast shipping. I have that personal connection with this company that gives me a helpful tech if needed and replacements are guaranteed. I don't buy dozens of Injectors or anything but they remember me and always solve my injector issues. I do like supporting Brick and Mortar business' as well.
I have a set of Bosch Injectors on my 1988 C4 Coupe and they work just fine. I replaced mine when I found I had a leaky injector bleeding a lot of extra gas. If you buy the correct part you should have no trouble. Ordering from Ebay is easy but getting a return is another matter. Especially when it has been Electrically activated and gasoline flowing through it some places won't take them back, even if they were the wrong part. Sorry, I am speaking from a bad experience I had with a seller on fleabay.
A lot of folks on this Corvette Forum buy their injectors from a shop called FIC, "Fuel Injector Connection" and have been very happy with the great service they got. They have great prices and fast service I have heard.
Another great source is South Bay Injectors up in N.Y. and many folks have nothing but great experiences with them. They too offer many choices for injectors for most Corvettes.
Good Luck and I hope your Injectors work out well for you.
Best regards,
Chris
P.S. When I replaced my injectors it "started" as a EGR replacement on my C4. I went ahead and installed a new Fuel pressure regulator, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter. My EGR failed and left a carbon mess. It was harder removing all the carbon than any other part. I removed the entire top of the intake system and spotted the injector dripping while working on the car. Little projects grow fast when working on a Corvette....
If you open the fuel system I would replace the parts there including any relays your Corvette uses. Sorry, my experience is primarily with the L98 C4's. Good Luck!

Read as starts and runs. It does seem the L98 Aluminum head cars get this response more than the Iron headed cars. Also, batch fire helps. How are the BLMs?

I have heard great things about both as well. As a fellow Bosch 3 owner, I would buy Delphi's for my L98 if I did it again.
The ones in your eBay link are Chinese knock-offs. Ebay is FULL of them. Check the info on the seller---the injectors may "ship" from stateside, but the seller is Chinese based. If they are cheap, and the seller resides in China, run like hell!!
Like James93LT1 said, do your research on the cheap Chinese knock-offs before shopping. My suggestion? If you are wanting the "real deal", call FIC. You will have the piece of mind knowing you didn't wast your money on sub-standard crap.
I'd get a reman set from FIC and be done with it. I have verified his work that he did what he was supposed to do a couple times so I'm good.
I'm not as worried about the work it has done as to the dirt. I pretty much use Top Tier fuel because Costco is cheaper and the station outside my place is Top Tier. In spite of that, when I send them out, there is a "before and after" difference. After 100K, I send all my injectors out for cleaning and testing. They always flow more coming back.
I just replaced my original multech's on my '96 lt4 with reman Bosch 3's from F.I.C. … very happy, car runs way better for sure! I replaced fuel pressure regulator while I had the rail out. I'd be really careful with cheap flea bay knock-off's.
Deal with a reliable, professional … no grief, and you'll only have to do the job once-
Unbeknownst to him, I verified a couple of sets of the injectors sent to him. Before and after. His before and after reporting tallied with mine so I would say with some confidence that he was doing the work he claimed.

My '94 camaro LT1 just had an original injection fall apart and spew fuel over the top of the engine. Lucky I got CES light. And just 2 weeks before that my favorite shop found 3 bad injectors on my car .
So I'm not inclined to recommend reman injectors as I'm thinking the plastic part of them may have shorter life in the hot environment under the hood. But cheapest price are on new are Accel near $360. AC Delco injectors are $85 each and no one sells them in sets.
Something you need to be aware of is you need injectors rated the same as your stock injectors (24lbs I believe) or you will affect the ECM tune. Different make injectors may have different offset and other specifications even though the pounds match and that will affect the tune also. Best to stay stock if you can.
I just bought a set of 24 lb Bosch injectors and was curious and got the volt meter out . They all read 13 ohms. Is this good? I know the stock should be 16 17 ohms so this is why I ask. Do 24lb have lower ohms thanks

Who did you get it from? Ohm test is a small facet. Spray pattern and volume are the other parts.
eBay they say Ford right on them part number f5de-bfa they are rebuilt and life time warranty. I finally found something on the internet and says ohms run between 10 an 14 so

Is it a reputable company? I have seen some of the products that look like they have been just pulled out of the car and cleaned off. If it is RC Engineering, FIC, Witch Hunter, etc, I'm sure it will be properly tested and cleaned.
