I think the computer went in my 1991 automatic. Is there a way to test it?
Can some people post the companys they have ordered rebuilt ecm's from and were you happy with the ecm you purchased and is it holding up? I'm looking into ecklers, mid-america, and zip. These companies use indpendent shops to overhaul the ecm's and sell for $90-$140 as compaired to GM at $220, but GM's ecm is rebuilt by AcDelco. Which one would you guys go with? These prices are after core charge. Thanking you in advance for any help. Happy motoring.
i have been down that road and would strongly suggest the delco rebuild. i ordered my first ecm from mid america (made the car run worse). my next one was from autozone, (i forgot what country they did the rebuil in but it made me nervous), i finnally got a delco and it worked out great! :) :yesnod:
