Default TPS quit working

I removed my tps to clean my throttle body and when I reinstalled it no voltage. It is receiving the 5v reference from the ecm. It was working fine before I removed it. I have data logging that shows the voltage at .65 volts. It's a 93 base LT-1. When I check it with the vom it reads 0 ohms until I turn it quite a bit. I don't understand how just removing it the TB cause this to happen! Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't that unit have to be installed to match the half moon shape of the throttle shaft and then turned to line up the screw holes?

No, the shaft is a rectangular shape and you just slide the tps onto it and it aligns with the screw holes. There is no adjustment. I checked the resistance with it off the car and when the throttle blades are closed there is no resistance so there will be no voltage. You have to turn it (the tps) quite a bit before you get any resistance at all. I've ordered a new one and when it comes it and if it works I am going to take the old one apart and see whats wrong.

Got a new GM TPS off Ebay and installed on Saturday and it works great. I think the spring inside my old one wore out.
