I am gonna put a set of 2010 camaroWheels on my C4 20 by tens in the rear and 20 x 9’s in the front any suggestions on tire size stock suspension thank you
I wouldn't be 20 on unless the brakes are upgraded to larger diameter. With increase in mass stopping distance will increase. Tires 245 30 20 295 25 20 will be close on correct diameter.
A quick google search indicates those sizes didn't come on any 2010 Camaro. So are these aftermarket wheels? Also, what year is your C4? 5th-gen Camaros seem to use less offset than 88-96 C4s, mostly in the 36-38mm range. If the wheels you're looking at have offsets around that, then they'll work well on a 84-87 Vette, but may stick out a bit on a later one.
I wouldn't worry about stopping distances. If your brakes can lock the tire (and if they're in good shape, they will), then they can lock up 20s just as easily. Can't stop any faster than that! That said, in my opinion (and that's all it is), 20s just don't look right on C4s. These are very small cars and 20s are disproportionate on them. The C5-7 and 2010-current Camaros are much, much bigger cars and need the giant-diameter wheels to hide their hugeness. From a visual standpoint, 18s are the largest I'd use on a C4.
