85 Rear Inner toe link/rod

Default 85 Rear Inner toe link/rod
Hi guys, trying to get my alignment good enough to drive to my alignment shop so they can put in my custom specs, I know the outer tie rods are for the toe adjustment but should the inner be seized onto the threaded portion of the inner toe link? It seems to adjust just fine but the thread count on the inner portion does not change? Do I have an issue or am over analyzing?

Thanks for any help.

It only adjusts on the outside thread if I remember right

That'll make me feel much better if that's the case, I don't have any play in the inner so I'd rather not buy the banski kit yet if I can help it
