Dragtimes.com has over 200 records listing 1/4 mile times from time slips and 60 to 130 mph times from VBox data.
Interesting what the relationship between them might be.
I plotted them out in Excel and it makes sense that it would be exponential not linear.
The slower cars barely have the 150 hp it takes to overcome the aero drag at 130 mph and at some point the right side of the graph should go vertical to infinity.
The faster 2000+ hp cars don't care about aero drag at 130 mph and it becomes a battle with traction and weight. The plot should go somewhat horizontal.
Wish I could find more 13 - 14 second cars, but they don't seem to post much data.
There is not a lot of data on the dragy leaderboard for 13-14s 60-130 cars either. I think that most modern sports cars today are simply faster than that. So that specific data is going to be hard to come by.
This is a plot from my front wheel speed.
It is from a 1/8 mile test and tune event where I ran 6.34 sec @ 115.6 mph.
In the log I let go after 128 MPH so I interpolated the last 2 conservativley.
It looks like the 088 did 13 sec staying in drive. Makes me wonder what it would have done starting in second. At this point in its adventure it had a 355 6" rod and hot cam with IK200 heads. Vid: 29 sec to 42 sec mark.
all right. so if i'm reading the dragy correctly, i presume the top of 2nd for you is 78 mph and the top of 3rd is 113? do you know off hand what the top of 4th is? thank you for the response.

150 mph in 4th @ 7k. 3rd runs to about 118 but I short shifted it a bit on this run.
I'll have to get a Draggy on my 84 sometime. All I have are some 0-130+ times..... Pretty fast thou.
The 60-130 would have to be slightly under/over 3 seconds I'd think.
FYI way less power (1100-ish), way heavier (3000lbs) and way smaller tires (255 60R15) than you'd think to be this fast. Suspension and maximizing the power you do have by way of gearing makes a big difference..... since my 84 is optimized for 1/8th mile racing this type of acceleration challenge is a perfect case for it.

Comparing your slip to the dragy leaderboard shows right at 3s give or take a few hundredths. You would be correct.
