I put one on my 86 vert and I was very supprised. I had read people saying that they felt a difference, but I was not expecting such a big difference. ( I thought that the ride was great to start with).
As for modification, I have heard a lot of people say that they went right on. Personally the left front bolt on my car's suspension was restricted by a belt pully and would not come out all of the way. Rather than deal with that I just cut a quick notch in the brace. I happen to have a band saw and notching the brace out on a bench seemed easer than dealing with the pully in the confined space in the car. Even with that, the whole proceedure was less than an hour with my dad and I having a beer while we were working ( after using the band saw of course......safety first guys :D )

Not sure if Dave has one for an '84. Love it and it was definitely worth it. Dave's a stand up guy also.

Dave does have one for an 84, he just sold his 84 for a 91. He is great to deal with and makes a qualtiy prroduct. Check out his group purchase going on now to save some $$. I really like the way it stiffens the front end up and improves the handling.

Hey,
GReat, Great Mod...I have it and felt a tramendous difference, and I would consider it manditory if you Autocross. And as others have said Dave is "as good as it gets" when it come to quality and serivce. I also have the Cross bar and Targa truss, I guess I'm hooked On RD Racing. I would say they are the best supporting Vendor in my opinion, always open to a group purchase, and fast and accurate help if you need it, heck Dave gave me his cell phone # in case I has any questions over a weekend when I was installing the Camber brace, where do you get that access, only from someone who love's vette the way we do

Just buy the camber-brace. I have never read a negative post about any of Dave's products.

Oh, I love my R-D Racing camber-brace and cross-bar.
