My '96 vert is having a problem. The car has the electronic HVAC system and is having a problem blowing heat.
1 - A/C works perfectly. Auto fan adjusts. Blows chilled air.
2 - Temp is selected to higher than ambient- Fan set to Auto-nothing happens
3 - Same as above- fan is set manually and it just blows ambient temp air (The manual fan adjustment works fine. It blows harder as you go up)
The heater core has been checked and is not blocked.
Any ideas?
Are heater both heater hoses hot? Automatic Climate Control has obd and can set codes. There's a YouTube video. You could pull right dash trim and hush panel see if air mix door clip is in place and if door has full travel.

So when you set the temp above ambient the fan just stops?
You will to get were you can see blend door motor and lever. Door should have full travel. If you here a ticking sound when temp is changed from full cold to hot. Blend door actuator is probably stripped. With actuator disconnected door should thud when door goes full hot to cold by hand. You should also notice temperature change as you move door.
