Default 96 LT4 Cruise Control

Hello Corvette World,

I have a 96 LT4 and the cruise control does not work. I traced the vacuum line from the servo to under the dash to the brake pedal. How do i remove that switch to replace the hose, mine has dry rot. The center brake light works but not the cruise control.

Thanks

I thought it was the vac lines on my 94 but it turned out to be one of the switches down by the pedals had become dislodged. It’s been a while but I think it was the switch on the clutch, not the brake. Keep in mind as well, that the vac lines run to the pedals as well, again can’t recall off memory but one (think the brake one) dumps the vacuum to immediately disengage the CC.
