I had to switch to a 95-newer timing cover and new style opti to use the
double roller chain setup. You definately have to use an electric pump
as well because you eliminate the pump drive gear.

I converted as well. I used a Summit dual chain and had to grind some of the timing cover away to make room for the thicker chain. I don't believe that you have to do that with the Cloyes unit, but I am not positive. I have a pic but I haven't been able to get to my home page since the Forum converted to this new look. If I can I'll post the pic if you want.
