Default raditor hoses LT4

something so simple, yet has become a major hassle. I can't get an upper and lower hose.
pepboys don't list em, for the 96 and probably any vette for that matter.

autobarn only listed the upper, and eventually ordered a GATES upper and lower hose.. 2 weeks ago. hasn't come in yet, and they want $8 in shipping !!

I don't feel like driving 10 miles to autozone. but I may have too..

any mail order company have decent name brand hoses?
just thought of it, I should have ordered through Dal, but usually go local on something that should be so standard !!

Call Jeff Kopp and tell him you are from the Corvette Forum, he will hook you up.

I agree.

Got mine from Jeff Kopp for 8 and 14 bucks each plus 6 for shipping. Had them next day.

He is the place for factory replacement parts-that are OEM!

You've most likely read this enough but I had to add my $.02......Jeff Kopp is da man. I just finished replacing the radiator, upper & lower hoses plus a bunch of odd ball small parts. Called Jeff and he filled my order by phone - had everything two days later. The guy is a master when it comes to knowing what part numbers are the correct replacements for OEM stuff on Vettes. I don't even look anywhere else - just give Jeff a call and quit worrying about where I might have to hunt to find the right parts. It's just to easy.....and he's the most friendly parts guy I've ever dealt with...........

are there any other hoses that I should replace besides the raditor hoses?
ie: any easy heater hoses that are readily available??

thanks

Heater hoses are accessible under the surge tank and don't look to be to tough to get to - I only replaced the hoses to the front of the engine because they felt soft and looked a little pregnant. I didn't replace any other hoses - I had plenty to do with the radiator, opti and water pump swap this weekend......a bit more of a bite than I had expected. Good luck with your repair.
