Default 1987 c4

HELP! New to the Corvette world , picked up a 1987 for me and my son to have a project car. I have taken the dash apart to check the fuses behind the driver information panel. I also pulled the relay and removed the Radio, AC/Heat unit and the Driver driver information unit. Issue is now the car is idling really rough and I have to keep on the accelerator to keep it from dying. The car ran great prior to this.... Any suggestions?

It's probably a coincidence. First I would unplug the MAF and see if it idles any better. This will force it to use the ECM mixture tables rather than the MAF readings. Next I'd check the vacuum at idle. Should be around 20. Assuming all that proves nothing, then it's time to do some real debugging which you'll need an ODBI scan tool for. That's the only way you can see what the ECM sees.
