What to do code 42?

What to do code 42?
Today i got a code 42, what do i have to do to fix it? Last night i started the vette in the dark and opened the hood and saw a sparkplug wire getting sparks out,then i re attached it with the spark plug. Could this be the cause?

Code 42..Electronic spark timing circuit (EST)
"Check wiring at ignition module. Replace ignition module. Possible ECM failure."
It is possible that your loose wire caused the code. Clear your codes by disconnecting the negative side of your battery, reconnect after a few moments, and see if your code 42 is still showing.
