Mirror adjustment problem

Default Mirror adjustment problem
My passenger side mirror will move left and right, but not up and down. The left side is working. Where do I need to start looking?

hi,had the same promblem on my 84 and it was the motor in the mirror assmly.good luck greg84 :cool:

If you drivers side goes up and down that means it probably is not the switch, rather the motor. Although this is not directly addressing you problem the following link will show you how to remove the mirror and motor.
