Default Long Dormant restoration.

Is back on again. 7 years dormant after spending $23k in parts. REsurrected this past week with a Fuel line solution from the filter forward. The Melrose long tube headers abruptly stopped this resto years ago.
Today i'm moving forward to secure the intake and find i need a few bolts. NOT JUST ANY BOLTS BUT 5/16-18 button heads WITH the same TORX socket and not generic HEX. I want it to look ORIGINAL. Any help?

Try Mr Bolt in Chatsworth, talk to Derek. They wont be GM but he can get any kind of bolt you want. McMaster car may have them too. Keep at it

New cars cost too much so sinking 20k in your car to make it new sounds like a good deal long term.

It was never my intention to invest so much. As a professional machinist though,my curiosity took over. EVERYTHING new between the
Wheel bearings, to clutch shell through new cam bearings. Updated clutch shell and pump and Forged Speed-Pros'. Complete new interior too.
Right now i am securing the intake then fuel line alignment and then the NEW wiring harness before i think about starting the NEW L-98

if you are looking for the bolts to secure the tpi runners and plenum to the intake, i should have a complete set around here.

i had the bolts from a 86', 89', and a 90' but they are now mia. i gave a buddy a bucket of c4 bolts and they may have been in that bucket. my other cans of bolts came up with nothing. i did find some intake to head bolts.

I needed a couple of these several years ago and got them on eBay. There are several listings for them now, New and Used...

I suppose it's trivial enough that i'll just get black oxide hex button heads.
