Default door locking

Hello, I have recently purchased my first vette a 93
Can you tell me if the ignition key will manually lock the doors?
I remember older GM vehicles, the round key unlocked the trunk and the doors
Is this the same situation?
I did not get the fob for the passive system
Another item I noticed, when applying the inside door locks those barely move

tried using the ignition key however goes in less than half way into door lock

some suggestions...thanks

The round key is for doors, glove box and center console.

I had the same issue with my 1988 C4 when I first bought it. I removed the door panels and took off the linkage as best I could. The old grease they used has hardened and makes it difficult to move the lock mechanisms. If you take some time and clean it off the parts move so much easier. What a difference it makes.

It was even worse on my 1968 C3 as it was really hard to remove. I used a Hot Air gun to warm it up to assist in removing the grease.

A little graphite never hurt the door locks either...
