Default More questions!

Ok, so I’m still very new to this world of C4s, and it’s been a great resource here. Now I’ve done lots of hours of reading and searching but I just need a couple things answered that I can’t seem to find. Here goes.

I’m assuming the green arrows point to wires and a sensor of some kind that were at one point together but have seemingly cut for a while by the previous owner. Is this worth redoing and what is that sensor?

the red arrow points to this line that isn’t attached to anything on the other end. Normal? I’m guessing no.

Os everyone else’s corvette sealed up between the radiator and the condenser? I’m chasing an overheating condition but only with the AC on so it does seem odd that it would be sealed up here but it’s all new to me. So far this is as clean as I’ve been able to get it, and both fans run 100% of the time the car is on. Previous owner did that I think, and also added a switch to turn the fans on or off manually. I just leave it in the on position. And AC pressures on high and low side are normal. New thermostat and fresh flush and fill coolant. No air out of the one bleed screw I’ve been able to find.

Far as I can tell the disconnected MAF sensor has been so for a long time. Doesn’t seem to cause a problem I can tell and it seems others have done the same.

the arrow points to where I keep looking for another bleeder screw but I never find anything. Just the one on the opposite side is all I can find.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you. I’m a new owner here and am trying to learn. Any other advice is welcome if you see anything in the pics that needs attention. I can always take more!

Thanks in advance for all your input!

The green arrows are your intake air temp sensor. Needs to be repaired and plugged in. The red arrow is a vacuum tube that should connect on the left side somewhere. Not sure off the top of my head. The FSM will have a diagram routing.

The opening in the side is normal. Your overheating issue might be caused by the radiator being plugged up (AC condenser as well) and only shows when the excess heat from the AC running.

The tune has probably been changed to just run off the MAP. Or the other possibility is that somebody removed the SES bulb on the car. Becuase your IAT being disconnected should have thrown a trouble light.
