Tech wire and resistor

I am doing other work and I exposed the white wire that I think is the tach pickup. It has a massive resistor and a connector. Is there a replacement wire with the length, resistor and connector? If not I can make a new one, but I still want the resistor - where can I buy a resistor??

I am not sure from the photo but that looks like the capacitor (not a resistor) that is bolted to the bell housing on the circuit from the tach to the distributor. If so those are readily available from any of the specialty Corvette houses.

Thanks, I will try to save it. Ideally there is a plug correct swap, but it looks like I can buy used or build. I will build
