Default Pacesetter Headers

Hello,

Has anyone ever used these?

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/p...0/applications

I am rebuilding my engine and dont want to go with long tube due to changes that I cant make right now. But I would like to get away from the manifolds.

Thank you
Doug

I have not used these particular headers, but shorties are often not worth the pain of install. They will help a bit but not much on an LT1.

I have the engine out of the car and would mount them before putting it back in. I only worry about them not lining back up and having to deal with that.... Probably better to stick with the manifolds for now, but they are so ugly and rusted.

Then in that case, I missed it the first read, they are better than the stock manifolds.

Yes, expect some adjustments for fitment

I installed these on a 93, they fit fine except for some minor issues installing the alternator/AC support bracket on left side of engine.
