Hello new Vette owner here got my first question:
I'm looking at changing all brake pads and rotors on my 92 LT1 Convertible.
I would like to buy Power stop kit #K1518 pads & rotors $277. from Amazon.
Any one try these? Working with a budget lots to do ...
Thanks for any help...

In the C5 section they have been reviewed a lot with positive statements on hundreds of posts. Based on those reviews I bought a set for my C5, but have not put them on yet. I hope for the best.
I have also used PowerStop pads on a couple of other cars with good results. Their ceramic pads seem to stop well and are low dusting.
The one thing that gets criticized is that the rotors in the C5 set are drilled. Under track conditions they can crack at the drill holes. However, on the street they work well without cracking. So if you are going to track your car or aggressively use them the drilled rotors could be a problem.
I am not aware of reviews for them on a C4, but I suspect similar results. If you get them, let us know the results.
I've used those kits on several vehicles including my C4 and I like them a lot. For me the best part is the zinc coated rotors (rust always annoys me) and since everything in any price under a few hundred bucks is made in China anyway I feel like giving up as little of my money as possible is the way to go.
I just checked and I bought that kit with carbon pads in 9/17 for $166......lol

I bought a set of the Power Stop Rotors for my daughters 2011 Camaro. They shipped fast but after putting them on all around the Car one of the rotors had a high spot on it.
After I called the supplier and they shipped me a second set of front rotors at no cost but I still had to swap the parts out and that cost me another few bucks.
I would suggest that you check them for high spots before putting them on, using a straight edge will help you verify that they are flat on both surfaces. The bad one showed up easily using this method.
Good Luck Mr. Bronx and Mr. New Jersey, I was born in Plainfield, New Jersey but have never lived there for more than a few months.
