I have a 1984 Corvette with the crossfire I rebuilt the tbi's the front tbi is dumping fuel from the spring not the injector I don't know what is causing it.
also the car hasn't been started in 13 years got it started but then flooded itself out from the front tbi
It's the front tbi so I believe it's the compensator spring and there's a little slit in the side of it of the housing and the fuel comes out of there and I replaced both diaphragms and it was doing this before I rebuilt the Tbi's
It could. That still shouldn't cause that diaphragm to leak though; the stock pump is only capable of producing about maybe 14 PSI, with the return dead-headed. The system should be able to run much higher pressures than that w/o leaking.
It wouldn't be hard to unbolt the return line and try to blow air through it back to tank...
