Default Cleaning components after bearing failure

Im currently in the middle of a motor swap after a rod bearing failure. Going with a long block from blueprint engines, but I’ll be swapping a couple parts over to the new motor. Mainly the cam, springs, rockers, and oil pan.

The cam that came out looked good with no visible issues, but there was quite a bit of metal particles present in the oil throughout the motor.

couple of questions:

1) I assume the lifters are trash given the metal particles?
2) best way to lightly clean the cam to make sure it is free of debris.
3) how to clean the oil pan out. I was thinking simple green?

Simple green, spray nine, really any type of degreaser is good for the pan.

Lifters are trash. I would not reuse ones out of a good engine sadly... too cheap to trust.

For the cam, brake cleaner and compressed air then hit it with wd or some oil. It will get surface rust if you use water and don't protect it.

I've also hooked my hot water heater up to my pressure washer with good results too.
