My fuel pump crapped out on me yesterday. I was able to find an off brand (Car Quest) pump to get me back on the road.
I want to replace with a better quality pump. Car is stock, so a high pressure or volume pump is not required.
Any suggestions as to which one to order.
I started this thread a few weeks back,

I guess this was the forewarning of the pump failure.

Probably nothing at all wrong with the one you put in. I wouldn't touch it
I replaced the pump about 5 years ago. Can't be more than 10k mi on it. Was just looking for something a little more reliable. They are easy enough to change, but getting stuck and having to get towed sucks.
Update.
The Car Quest fuel pump I put in a couple of weeks ago is starting to fail already. This morning, first the car wouldn't start. No pressure at the rail. Got car started, drove around a bit engine sputtering. Pressure gauge reads 32lbs and drops to Zero when shut off. Time for a new pump.
Back to my original question.
Any recommendations?
I use a DeatschWerks fuel pump in my GrandSport. It has been about two years since I installed it.
When my OEM stock pump died I bought a brand new Delphi. Well the Delphi started to give me odd symptoms almost immediately one of which was not holding pressure with the ignition off.
That is when I went with the DeatschWerks pump.

Which series pumped are you using? The 100,200,or 300. Does your LT4 have any mods which your need a higher flow rate.

I am using the DeatschWerks DW200 fuel pump 255lph # 92011029 purchased from Summit Racing.
I have a bigger cam, ported intake, cold air, full length headers, 3" exhaust, a tune.
Do I need the higher output fuel pump? Probably not but it looks like it is built substantially better than the OEM stock unit and it is obviously better than the crappy Delphi pump that failed in a few weeks.
I also splurged and purchased the Holley Hydramat 16-111 to replace the sock on the end of the pump. It took some effort getting it to fit on the DW200 pump and back in the tank. But the Hydramat took care of the "below a quarter of a tank fuel starvation" problem that plagued my car from day one of ownership.

Thanks,
That's the one I was looking at. Will look at the Hydromat also.
The Hydra-mat is great stuff! I was lucky to get a piece from Holley in my Holley Sniper EFI system. I now use the same Walbro pumps the C4 uses but run it at 58 psi instead of the the ~42 psi range of the C4. The only bad thing is paying for it separately, it is expensive but it DOES work. I got a piece that reaches down deep to get the lower fuel out of there. I have it in a 1968 early Convertible Corvette. I was so happy to find the mounting hole on my fuel tank on the bottom of the tank. I drained out the tank and swapped the fuel outlet float level bracket in less than 1/2 hour. The whole fuel system was finished so easily with an in-tank regulator not requiring any return line.
The Guys at EFISYSTEMPRO.com are sales people for the Walbro fuel pumps and the Holley Hydra-mat. I have never been treated so nicely by a company as I have been by EFISYSTEMPRO. I bought my entire EFI system from them and get service like few "get" but most "need".
