Okay, I spent three days (couple hours each day) working on the heater core.... then when I got it all finished up the battery was leaking acid everywhere and was dead. Replaced the battery, went driving the next morning and the a/c clutch bearing went out melting everything around it. I got a new a/c clutch assembly and put it on. Now the car seems to be fine again, but I'm just wondering.... what's next? Seems like there's always something going out on these cars!!!!
Radiator, hoses, steering rack, battery, alternator, engine, starter  . On mine it was in that order:(. You already done the rack three times on the same car so it won't be a difficult task for you:).
How was the heater core replacement work of the 90 compare to the earlier dash (breadbox)? Took me two weeks time to finish mine, total actual working time was about 8-10 hours. There is no way I can do it on one weekend, me body can't handle this  .
I gave up wondering "What's Next" a long time ago. Yes there is always something waiting to go right around the corner. Hopefully you'll steer clear of something else failing.
