89 auto running bad

89 auto, 23k miles, is running rough at idle, starts and sometimes stalls and dies after rpm drops suddenly at low speeds, at higher speed, seems to run ok. No dash light warnings. Any thoughts as to the problem?

Might be a vacuum leak, any vacuum leak really hurts idle quality but dissapears as RPMs rise, and there's plenty of places for leaks to occur, but the obvious ones are the ports to the rear of the plenum.
