What are your thoughts and why did you choose the Terminator other that what you have already stated?
Thanks,

As for my gauges, Speedometer, Tachometer, fuel level, Oil Pressure Oil Temp, and Coolant Temp still works. The gauges that no longer work is the miles per gallon and instant fuel avg. gauge. This ecu doesn't come with a mounting bracket, so you would have to fab your own bracket once you decide where to mount it.
Thanks for posting the pictures of your install. I haven't looked into the Terminator X yet but will do so today as I have the time to research.
I'm so frustrated I just want my car to be able to get in and take a cruise or take it down the strip. I have already spent big $ getting the car to this point over the last several years. I have been extremely disappointed in the performance I have received using my current setup. I’m thinking that most of the issue is the original computer can’t handle what I’ve done to the engine. The Distributor is frequently coming loose and advancing or retarding the timing. Fuel Mixture is extremely rich. Throttle response is poor.I am willing to completely remove the current tpi setup to install anything that works.
Here is what I currently have.
L98 Build with original harness and CPU
Iron Vortec Heads 12558062 64cc 170
Scoggin Dickey TPI manifold
BBK 58mm Throttle Body
DUI 12611Bk HEI Distributor
Summit 1102 Hydraulic Roller Cam 0.296 Intake0.311 Exhaust
Melrose Long Tube Headers with 3" to 2.5" Borla Mufflers
Mild 700r4 Trans
Lately I have begun to consider the Edelbrock Pro Flo Xt complete system. Is the Holley Terminator X system as tunable or more tunable than the Edelbrock?
Will this control my overdrive in the 700r4? Are there detailed directions on how to wire this system into the existing harness?
Here are a few pictures of my engine. Thanks in advance for your advice.

As a note of caution, I do not think the Terminator X series ECUs are potted so they should not be exposed to the elements. This may not be an issue under the hood where you have it, but just something to be aware of. The Holley HP and Dominator ECUs are potted and can be put pretty much anywhere as a result.
