1987 Corvette. I just finished installing an edelbrock tpi setup. I found it on Ebay. I had a "tick", replaced the lifters, the pushrods, installed the edelbrock intake, runners, a new plenum and a Holly throttle body. I have a few small problems and could use a little help. The air intake hose does not fit. Is there a slightly larger one? It is close, maybe 1/4" 3/8" more would do it. Should I use a heat gun and stretch it?
I lost a vent pipe for the passenger side valve cover. I can fab one up, but is there a source for a new one?
I would contact Holley and explain the situation. It makes no sense that it's not the same size has to original. Mabye it's a knock off. Ebay ... You can try to heat it uniformly with a heat gun and use a little grease to get it on. Take care, it would be a mess if you scrap the intake through. I would go slowly and heat it more and more until it works. As for the hose, I would go to a scrapyard or maybe Rockauto or other distributors have it ?
Anyone know if the LT1 hose would fit his TB? If it helps any your stock TB is plenty sufficient for your TPI system
The HELP section may turn up something similar to what you have. If not, plenty of guys here who part them out and have an original
