We got any superram 396s here?
The MPH is the easy part. The ET is the hard part. The 379 rwhp doesn't mean a thing to me. There still hasn't been a 11 second time slip to go with that HP.

just keeping a
eye on things... I would like to do a stroker on my LT1... and that is my plan, but I don't want a high strung POS that is hard to drive. I just want a 383 or 396 version of my 350. A bit bigger, a bit more of everything.
effertless power, power the way only cubic inches can produce it.
My brother in FL had a 427/435hp L71 BB in his 1967 coupe. It was way  , but, like anything that brutal, it was undrivable on a regular basis. it sucked gas, it smelled, it was HOT, tempermental and rode like crap.
but I would never trade that experience for any amount of $$!!! :D
If nothing else, it told me what I DIDN'T want my car to be... but at the same time, I knew what I wanted my car to to be like. Fast, but usable.
That is, to me, the most admirable goal. And sometimes the most difficult!
